ASA, a German based development education organisation, is looking for partner projects in Africa, Asia, Latin America and Southeast Europe for the practical phase of their trainee programme in 2011. The ASA-Program supports committed young people from Europe to extend their skills to contribute to a global sustainable development. ASA offers a learning cycle consisting of preparatory seminars, a practical phase and a follow-up phase. The main aim of the projects is the dialog between North and South. During the practical phase that will take place between July and December 2011, a team of two or three European participants carry out a three-month internship in organisations in the development field. The target of the projects is to give the participants the opportunity to better understand global interdependencies and development policy issues, to acquire organisational and practical skills in an international context and, simultaneously, to support the partner organisations with a qualified collaboration work. Organisations interested in collaboration are welcome to hand in project proposals until September 15 by email. The project proposal forms are available for download on the ASA-website. For projects taking place in French-speaking Africa please use the form in French. For projects taking place in English-speaking Africa, Asia and Southeast Europe please use the project proposal form in English, and for the ones taking place in Latin America please use the form in Spanish.
Please send the completed application form per e-mail to:
