Affiliates from a-z
streetfootballworld network affiliates are independent organisations from the non-profit sector, who share the network’s vision of creating a better future for young people around the world through collaboration.
They are all committed to Development through Football and have proven to be reliable partners on the pitch. Rather than implementing their own football-based programmes, these organisations support the streetfootballworld network with a wide range of meaningful services and collaboration possibilities to enhance network members’ scope and performance.

The One World Futbol Project works to distribute an ultra-durable football to Development through Sport projects, schools, orphanages and other programmes which support underserved communities.
One World Futbol Project works with institutional purchasers and corporate sponsors to get the majority of balls distributed. Also, for every ball sold at retail in the US, the Project donates a ball to an NGO working with young people in disadvantaged communities. Founded in 2010, the One World Futbol Project has distributed nearly 20,000 balls to organisations in 126 countries, including several streetfootballworld network members.
The One World Futbol never goes flat and never needs a pump. Each ball can save hundreds of dollars in football replacement costs over the course of a programme’s life-span, as well as preventing used footballs from ending up in landfills. The organisation can therefore benefit network members on a financial and an environmental level.

TackleAfrica delivers HIV education through football coaching to young people in Africa. Working through a network of African and International partners, TackleAfrica train and support local youth leaders, coaches and schoolteachers to deliver uniquely adapted football drills which include vital messages to help mitigate the impact of HIV within local communities. All the learning is done on the pitch, meaning that young Africans learn essential health messages in a way that they enjoy, understand and will apply to their lives.
TackleAfrica can benefit African streetfootballworld network members through its expertise in HIV education through football coaching training courses and programme support activity.
As well as the main activity of training multipliers from local organisations to deliver HIV education, the organisation also helps partners by organising and running tournaments – often combined with HIV testing.
TackleAfrica is a registered UK charity and is currently active in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia and Ghana.
