PuntaGol uses football to promote positive social transformation within Punta Arenas. PuntaGol seeks to strengthen social ties in communities, involving young people and their families in ongoing educational and cultural activities. Its Fútbol Callejero (Street Football) programmes offer an attractive entry point for young people, an effective tool to teach vital social and communication skills, and an opportunity for the community to unite.

PuntaGol organised the first Patagonian Street Football Encounter, bringing together young Argentinians from Punta Arenas, Porvenir and Calafate. Through this event, PuntaGol connected with other community organisations, with whom PuntaGol then created the first region-wide Liga de Fútbol Callejero.
